A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I started my fitness career in 1998 working as an employed Fitness Trainer at Court Garden in Marlow.
I moved to Holmes Place Health clubs 3 years later working my way up to become one of their first Master Trainers in the country.

In 2007 I moved to Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre taking the plunge into the scary world of self employment. It was there I trained the likes of Tim Henman (Tennis) and Ian Rose (Paralympic Judo) as well as many members of the public.

In 2011 I started work at David Lloyd in Maidenhead (still working as a self employed Trainer) and trained Katie-George-Dunlevy for the London 2012 Paralympic Cycling events (in conjunction with the IIS).

More recently I started my latest challenge working from the prestigious Marlow Club which is as exciting as it is daunting.
WHAT IS MY STYLE OF TRAINING?
My Views on Personal Training
Every Personal Trainer is different. We all have different beliefs, backgrounds and education.

My style of PT is the opposite of the Drill Sergeant.
I believe strongly that a Trainer works with their client and is there to encourage and support rather than bark orders.
My goal isn't to push you to within a rep of your life. That should only be used on very advanced clients who can cope and recover from such a 'beasting'.

I look at training adaptation over a period of time (not as a singular session) so my goal is to get the most training volume out of you per week. Sometimes that means pushing harder, sometimes a little lighter so that you are recovered and ready to go for your next session.

You know your body better than anyone else. Your feedback allows me to personalise your training over time so that we can individualise what you are doing in the gym.
Having said that, a huge part of PT is getting to know a client and learning their 'tells'. After a few months I will know yours and know whether you are working hard or just pretending ;)
Therefore I will push your boundaries of fitness over time and I can guarantee, if you put the time in, you will get fitter.
